Lazio, Land of Cinema - The Land of magic Handcraft

Exhibition promoted by Regione Lazio and curated by Clara Tosi Pamphili with Alessio de Navasques, founders of the A.I. Artisanal Intelligence project.

A cultural rediscovery, through the exhibition of objects and stage productions made by great professionals of the sector, craftsmen, creative artists and technicians.

The magic of the circus in the costumes of Federico Fellini‘s “Clowns” by Sartoria Farani and the three characters from Gabriele Mainetti‘s “Freaks Out”, with costumes by Meri Montaldo.
The hats and the wooden shapes to make them, from “Pirates of the Caribbean” and Pier Paolo Pasolini‘s “The Gospel according to St. Matthew” by the Pieroni workshop; together with the wigs, masterpieces by Rocchetti and Rocchetti for Federico Fellini‘s “Casanova” and “Satyricon”.
The three Pinocchios in the history of our Cinema, including Luigi Comencini‘s wooden puppet by the craftsman Bartolucci who collaborated with the costume designer Piero Gherardi.
The special effects by Leonardo Cruciano, author of the vampires in Andrea de Sica‘s “Non mi uccidere”.
Diabolik, in the 1960s version and now in the Manetti Bros‘ version to be released soon, with two costumes of Eva Kant designed by the young Ginevra De Carolis.
The armour of “Ben Hur”, “Cleopatra” and “Gladiator” but also of the epic series “The Throne of Swords” and “Vikings” by the historic Rancati company, with Pierantoni‘s shoes made for major productions such as Domina.
Gianni Gianese‘s three sculptures for Dante Ferretti‘s set design of Federico Fellini‘s “La Città delle Donne” with images of Cinecittà as a backdrop.
Marking the ideal gateway to the route, against the backdrop of an image of Cinecittà, is the head of Venusia created by Mekane.
