An evocative video by the great director shows the beauty of Lazio in Dubai
Gabriele Salvatores, who is narrating the beauty of the Italian regions at Expo, has chosen for Lazio Civita di Bagnoregio, a city that seems unreal, suspended on the clouds and about to disappear, but inhabited since Etruscan times and a candidate to join the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 2022, the Colosseum, a world-famous symbol, and the Abbey of Montecassino, a treasure trove of medieval history and art, destroyed and rebuilt thanks to the love, skill and tenacity of our people and linked to an important and painful page of our recent history.
Three symbolic places, which perfectly embody the claim of our region at Expo: “Culture is Innovation, Sustainability and Well-being – Lazio Eternal Discovery”.
The video will be shown in the “Belvedere” space of the Italian Pavilion about 12 times a day for the entire duration of the Universal Exposition.
