World Premiere
On the occasion of Expo Dubai 2020, the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia commissioned a short composition for symphonic orchestra to the composer Nicola Piovani: Scherzo Eolico (Wind Joke).
The performance of the piece, by the Orchestra of the Accademia conducted by Nicola Piovani himself, was broadcast as a World Premiere in the Amphitheatre of the Italy Pavilion.
The event is promoted by Lazio Region.
