“Expo2020Dubai – United Arab Emirates: market approach for Lazio enterprises, positive aspects and issues”
The meeting “Expo2020Dubai – United Arab Emirates: market approach for Lazio enterprises, positive aspects and issues” was held on 16 March. This is the first in a series of digital meetings tha are part of the “Information and Training 4.0” programme.
This initiative is promoted by Lazio Region in cooperation with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the runup to the Universal Exhibition to be held in Dubai from 1 October 2021 to 30 March 2022
This digital meeting offered indications on the commercial, legal and fiscal aspects required for export and internationalisation programmes aimed at the United Arab Emirates. It also included an overview on the internationalisation actions that Lazio Region is putting into play to enhance Lazio’s economic and productive sector.
With a total export of €4,568bln, the UAE market represents a crucial possibility for Italian products. The effective management of the Covid-19 crisis and the imminent beginning of the Universal Exhibition due to start on 1 October ensure that the UAE is one of the countries recovering more rapidly from the economic crisis generated by the pandemic. It is also a commercial link and strategic hub for the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
