Wednesday 21 April, 15:00 Runup to Expo2020Dubai – United Arab Emirates:
International Digitalisation Processes and E-government
The theme of economic diversification and technological update through the digitalisation of work, bureaucracy and education. The digital economy in the United Arab Emirates currently contributes to a total of 4.3% of the country’s economy. By 2023 it will reach 63.8bln dollars. In this sense the institutional investments in the field of school-level digital education have been crucial in making this accessible also to the less wealthy.
Digitalisation is closely linked to what is defined as the Economics of Innovation. This is understood as a marriage between entrepreneurship and innovation, and it entails a leading role for those companies where the professionalism of staff – though already valued today – will represent ever increasingly a fundamental and irreplaceable driver towards success.
This digital meeting took place on Wednesday 21 April and included relevant information in order to operate in this expanding industry in Dubai.
