Very positive results for participation in the exhibition as part of the national collective exhibition promoted by ICE Agency
The Lazio Life Sciences supply chain was successfully represented in the national collective exhibition promoted by ITA – ICE at the 47th edition of Arab Health Dubai, from 24 to 27 January 2022.
The exhibition confirmed its status as the leading event for the medical sector in the Middle East and North Africa, attracting over 56,000 international visitors and 3,500 exhibitors from 60 different countries.
The Italian healthcare sector was represented by about 120 companies on a total area of 1650 sqm, divided into 4 collective areas in Halls Za’Abeel 1 (Medical Laboratory Industry), Za’Abeel 2 (Medical Equipment & Devices), Sheikh Saeed 1-2 (Imaging & Diagnostics) and Sheikh Rashid (Orthopedics & Physiotherapy / Rehabilitation.
The ITA space, in the Sheikh Saeed Pavilion, hosted 18 companies and organised around 50 B2B meetings with Emirati and Saudi Arabian buyers for exhibitors in the group, demonstrating the strong interest in the Italian ecosystem throughout the Gulf area.
The Lazio Bioscience Technological District, representing over 300 regional companies and the C.H.I.CO. cluster, held 13 B2B meetings during the fair. In particular, talks were held with distributors in the sectors of medical devices, e-health technologies, innovative generic drugs, beauty care and food supplements for the UAE, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and some African countries.
Arab Health is the gateway to a huge market and is an unmissable opportunity to develop business opportunities, commercial partnerships and discuss the most up-to-date industry issues. The Middle East market is one of the most dynamic in the world, because the emphasis of operators is on high-end products with high quality content and advanced technology, and local production covers only part of the demand.
Participation in the Arab Health Fair is part of the activities in favour of the economic-productive system implemented by the Lazio Region on the occasion of Expo 2020 Dubai.
