The President of Lazio, Nicola Zingaretti, will participate in two important meetings for the regional economic ecosystem.
On Tuesday 8 March at 10.30 am (Dubai time) 1.30 pm (Italian time), the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Rome, Lorenzo Tagliavanti will sign MoU with the President and CEO of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry, H.E. Hamad Buamim. Nicola Zingaretti, President of the Lazio Region will attend the signing ceremony.
The signing will take place during a meeting between the economic ecosystem of the Emirates and that of Lazio aimed at launching a collaboration process in two priority areas: the promotion of commercial internationalisation processes; partnerships on paths linked to the attraction of investments, the meeting between innovation ecosystems and international co-planning. The aim is to create a stable platform for the exchange of opportunities and the sharing of bi-lateral economic and commercial programmes and initiatives.
The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry was established in 1965 to support the national economy. Today, the Chamber associates over 275,000 entities representing all economic sectors.
At 12.00 noon there will then be a meeting between the delegation of the Lazio Region and the UAEIIC International Investors Council.
The Council plays an important role in the Emirati economy; its mission is to support UAE companies in decision-making processes regarding foreign investments, providing indications and significant parameters for all possible areas of investment, worldwide. Members of the International Investors Council include, UAE Ministry of Economy, UAE Ministry of Finance, UAE General Authority for Civil Aviation, Etisalat Group, Dubai Holding, Millennium & Copthorne Middle East/Africa. The body is, therefore, an important platform to dialogue with in order to attract Emirati investments to our region.
